It's difficult to think of a less likely source of comedy than the sudden death of arguably the most brutal dictator of the 20th Century. But that is the premise of this month's award winning film.
"The Death of Stalin" follows the machinations of ambitious politburo apparatchiks when "the boss" suddenly departs this mortal coil.
So come and join us next Thursday (the 17th) to see if this improbable choice works. As usual the doors will open at 6:30, the film will screen at 7:00.
We still won't be offering food and wine, but Covid willing we are hoping to have something to offer in July.
While we are edging closer to normality the following requirements still apply:
* Social distancing rules will apply throughout the theatre complex
* Contact tracing is required, either through QR Code scanning (preferred) or on paper. These options will both be available.
* Seating will be relaxed, but spaces should be left between groups.
If you are not feeling well, please don't come, we'll see you next month.
See you all on the 17th.
